It’s tough enough when your kids know more about technology than you do but how do you learn more? If you’re not interested in taking a continued education class or asking the neighbors, here are a few terms you should look up on your own to get up to date on what’s happening in Tech.
iPad – Sure, you’ve heard of it but do you really know what an iPad DOES? It’s a great new device and it’s dominated the news for the last year so you’d better know what it does to feel more educated. Also look up e-reader while you’re at it.
clear internet – If you haven’t heard of mobile internet you’ve got to get the latest on 4G. It’s the newest wave of wireless and your kids are going to be talking about it soon so you may as well find out now.
HMTL – Okay, okay, don’t panic. You don’t actually have to learn HTML but you’d better know what the language consists of and when it’s used. If you want to monitor a blog or talk computers, you’ll need it.
